Bryan da Frota: Chief Executive Officer, Co-founder
Bryan Da Frota currently serves as CEO of Prioria Robotics, Inc. Da Frota received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida. He has extensive experience with highly complex technical sales, creating strategic partnerships and relationships, investor relations and program management. With his entrepreneurial background, da Frota applied embedded technology to unmanned systems building a successful company focused on Maveric, the world’s first “smart” unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
Prior to his time at Prioria, da Frota was a district executive in charge of fundraising and volunteering for a non-profit organization. He networked with other organizations in the area to create strategic alliances that ultimately resulted in increased fundraising donations by 12% each year.
In his spare time, da Frota enjoys spending time with his family, biking, gardening and supporting causes for which he feels passionate. Da Frota is the assistant fencing coach at the University of Florida, an avid Salsa dancer and an Eagle Scout.
Jason Grzywna: Vice President of Engineering, Co-founder
Jason Grzywna is vice president of engineering of Prioria Robotics, Inc. Grzywna received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Florida. He has more than a decade of experience in the area of electrical engineering, specifically in unmanned systems and robotics. Gryzwna has had great success supporting highly technical and international sales, strategic partnership creation and management, raising capital, investor relations and strategic operational plans.
Prior to his time at Prioria, Jason worked as a researcher at the University of Florida developing small-scale flight avionics and vision-based algorithms for autonomous flight and intelligent micro-air vehicle missions, including flight in complex urban environments and ground object tracking.
In his spare time, Jason enjoys reading, mountain biking, gaming on his PS3, idolizing Apple culture, traveling and cooking.
Derek Lyons: Vice President of Sales
Derek Lyons currently serves as vice president of sales for Prioria Robotics, Inc. Lyons has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in political science, with a minor in business. Derek brings more than 10 years of sales experience to Prioria, with an emphasis on business development, sales and marketing. During that 10-year span, Lyons was able to grow two small businesses by tripling their revenues.
Lyons has been extremely successful in creating systems and processes for sales, business development and marketing at Prioria. By creating these systems, Lyons has laid the foundation for Prioria to achieve exponential growth in partnerships and revenue.
When Lyons has a spare moment, he enjoys listening to various types of music, reading novels and poetry and writing short stories.
