Prioria is dedicated to solving some of the key problems of machine perception and autonomous systems, and applying those solutions to a variety of industries to create marked improvement in existing products or to develop new products. Prioria produces the Maveric™ UAV whose unique on-board collision avoidance capability is powered by the Merlin® embedded processing platform. Prioria also provides engineering solutions for unmanned systems, ground robotics, industrial, medical device manufacturers, military / homeland security applications, and cutting edge commercial products.
History
- Founded in March of 2003 by University of Florida Graduates.
- November 2003 Prioria forms embedded system group to help other people bring products to market
- August 2004 Prioria Launches Unmanned Vehicle group to commercialize a UAS technology
- September 2004 File first UAV patents
- April 2005 Prioria licenses first set of patents from the University of Florida
- December 2006 Jim Lilkendey comes on board as Director of Operations to improve Prioria processes, build infrastructure, and instill best practices.
- April 2007 Prioria hires 10th employee
- July 2007 Prioria conducts successful autonomous collision avoidance experiment processed onboard a micro air vehicle
- August 2007 Prioria launches Maveric UAS 1.0 at AUVSI 2007
- December 2007 Prioria hires 24th employee
- February 2008 Prioria completes production ready Maveric UAS 2.0
- March 2008 Delivery of the first Maveric UAS system
- April 2008 Delivery of the first international sale of the Maveric UAS
- July 2008 Maveric Participates in Operation Bold Quest
- October 2008 Bob Touchton joins Prioria team to take Prioria technology into commercial ground robotic applications, Maveric fly’s in NATO’s Trial Imperial Hammer
- November 2008 Advanced Machine Perception group is formed to further advances in image processing, sensor fusion, signal processing and core Prioria technology. Maveric is formally evaluated by SOCOM and participate in TNT at Camp Roberts. Maveric completes world’s first 3D mapping from a micro air vehicle
- January 2009 Maveric adds side look camera with 10X optical zoom
