UAS Operator

Summary

Conduct service, testing and demonstration operations for small UAS platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operation of Maveric UAS, Hex VTOL, and experimental platforms.
  • Plan and conduct ground and flight acceptance tests for a variety of UAS platforms.
  • Manage facilities, equipment, and test assets.
  • Document and report operations and maintenance.
  • Conduct operational briefings and debriefings.
  • Manage and document system test configurations.
  • Participate in configuration control decisions and equipment anomaly investigations.
  • Communicate with novice and advanced users at the appropriate level.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, both civilian and military, in order to coordinate and execute complex UAS missions in a high OPTEMPO environment.
  • Intelligently represents the products and company in varying social environments.
  • Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations to perform demonstrations and service operations.
  • Travel approximately 50% of the time.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid U.S. State Driver’s License
  • Able to lift a 50 pound weight above shoulders
  • Organized person
  • Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check
  • Must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
  • Basic understanding of electronic components and troubleshooting
  • Proven ability to learn and demonstrate competency in a concise manner in a high OPTEMPO environment

Production Technician

Summary

Conduct general manufacturing of electrical and mechanical systems for small unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and other small robotics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test small UAS vehicles
  • Build parts, assemblies, and products
  • Solder, modify, debug, and install small electronics
  • CNC machine operations to create parts from raw material
  • Composite material layup
  • Autoclave machine operation
  • Documenting and reporting builds

Minimum Requirements

  • A BS degree, or equivalent technical degree preferred

Summary

Software Engineer

Summary

We are looking for a passionate and curious engineer to join our software development team. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in C++ development or embedded systems development. A desire to grow, learn, and explore is a must.

You will be asked to design, implement, and maintain the various software subsystems required on small Unmanned Aerial Systems. Areas include platform control, mission planning, video compression and transmission, image processing, wired and wireless network communication, payload control, and data analysis.
